iPhone 3GS overheatingApple’s iPhone 3GS overheating! Apple’s latest release, the iPhone 3GS have some serious overheating issues, reported Melissa Perenson for PC World. Lots of users on a French tech site are saying that their white iPhone 3GS handsets are discolored after overheating.

When Apple realeased the iPhone 3G, it had a problem with their back cracking without any particular reason. Now, the iPhone 3GS has run into a similar problem, this time with discoloration after overheating.

One user discovered his iPhone 3GS was overheating a lot, because he was using the phone’s GPS and 3G capabilities. After the overheating, he discovered that the back of his white iPhone was slightly discolored. Read more…

Apple iPhone OS 3.0 Software Update Problems

iPhone 3.0 OS Software updateiPhone and iPod Touch owners finally got the chance to install the new Apple iPhone 3.0 Software Update. But to the dismay of thousands of iPhone users, they have encountered several problems with the updating of their OS software.

Some of the errors iPhone and iPod Touch users are “We could not complete your iTunes Store Request” and “iPhone cannot be updated at this time because the iPhone activation server is temporarily unavailable” warning. When you get errors like these while doing the Apple iPhone OS 3.0 software update, don’t worry too much. Things like this do happen.
