$400,000 Necklace Missing From Lindsay Lohan Photo Shoot
London’s Metropolitan police confirmed that a necklace and earrings worth more than $400,000 of Dior jewels were missing from the set of a Lindsay Lohan photoshoot , for Britain’s Elle Magazine, in north London in early June. Despite recent reports linking the often troubled former child star to the stolen jewels, , a spokeswoman for Elle U.K. has released a statement exonerating the 22-year-old star in the heist.
The fashion magazine said in a statement that it had no reason to believe that Lindsay Lohan was in any way linked to the alleged theft. A police spokesman said no arrests have been made and would not comment on whether Ms. Lohan had been interviewed or was even related to the case in any way.
A spokeswoman for Lindsay Lohan says the actress has not been questioned by London police investigating jewelry that went missing after a fashion shoot there. She said that Ms. Lohan has not been contacted by authorities but would comply in an investigation if necessary.
